Segmentation fault [Jul. 6th, 2004|09:01 am]

I use 4.4.0 and when i run - it shows programm screen and then - Segmentation fault
I try to compile it from sources - same result...
Than i remove 4.4.0 - and install 4.3.2 version - for some time it works, but 3 days ago - i got Segmentation fault when run it :(

What it can be ?

What distro? How are you installing it? Does it work when you run it as root?

ALT Linux Compact 2.3 ;) I guess u don't hear about it )
First - i use distro .rpm
Second - compile from tarball
Third - i use RPM for RH FC1
It runs from root ... when i delete ~/.logjam/ and run again - it works fine till some moment

start by

installing strace -- if it's not already there and then run logjam under strace.

That will show you all the system calls and you may get to see if it's failing in a system library.

If that doesn't get you enough diags then run under gdb and get a backtrace after the segfault.
