Magic Links problem [May. 3rd, 2004|01:22 am]

OK. How do I *clear* the copied text so I can use Ctrl-L in the normal fashion? I copied a URL and magic linked it, but now can't get rid of that behavior. Very annoying.

I was wondering that myself....

If it helps, if you just put a new link in the cut buffer, it'll use that instead.... but it still won't pop the pop-up box, which *is* annoying.

After posting that, I found out if I just clicked in the edit window for logjam, then hit Ctrl-x, it cleared the buffer and Ctrl-l would do what I wanted it to.

Have nothing selected in LogJam's edit window, and press ctrl-c.

Alternatively, if you leave the clipboard with its contents and simply invoke the link menu when you have nothing selected in the edit window, you'll get the normal popup.

I just hit C-c before hitting C-l, doesn't take too much more time. But it certainly is a bother having to keep track of what's in the buffer.
