crap...gtkspell broken [Jan. 23rd, 2004|06:30 am]

[Current Mood |frustratedfrustrated]

anyone know how to get gtkspell working correctly. when I compile, it says that it will use GTKspell but when I run logjam, I can mispell words like "forv" and "footar" and I get no red squiggly line under them...like I used to.

I'm really started to dislike Fedora....

Any thoughts?

Have you got spell checking set in the preferences? I think it was off by default when I last installed Logjam from sources.

On Fedora I used the binary from here:

Which saved a lot of faffing and everything works as it should.....

With the current version I use I have to at times for no reason known to me
LogJam 4.1.2 (Debian install)

1. disable spell check in preferences
2. click X Close
3. enable spell check in preferences
4. click X Close.

Lately it works when I first launch logjam but then stops checking works (it seems at ramdom) after the 2nd 3rd entry.

I have not submitted this as a bug since I can not find out when it happens.
