LogJam 4.2.3 Released [Jun. 15th, 2003|02:48 pm]
We’ve released LogJam 4.2.3.

You can get it at the LogJam page.

This is another bugfix release. What’s changed?
  • Journal backup now properly saves the comment flags, which it wasn’t doing right before.
  • Better smartquotes.
  • Windowing changes in the network requests (common bug this fixes is a failed login effectively locking LogJam).

Hopefully this will be the last release on the 4.2 branch.

If anyone’s interested in a small C#/Mono project (I know I’ve seen a few people playing with it in my random walks about LJ) related to LogJam, please see this post.

Hi there.
Thanks for a great prog :)
I'm using LogJam 4.2.3, compiled by hands without Gtkspell, GtkHTML and librsvg (xmms only).
Everythig works fine, but i have empy "Clients used" field in my livejournal userinfo.
The latest "signed" release was "GTK2-LogJam: 4.0.1"
Any suggestions?
Thnx in front :)

I think LJ stopped logging the client versions because people were using it to spam the site (they'd set their client version to an arbitrary string).

Hopefully that'll be changed in the future.
