release early, release often [Nov. 27th, 2002|07:22 pm]
I'm thinking of releasing the current CVS as 4.0.1. If you were holding off testing until now, please check it out and see if you run into any problems.

Summary of changes from 4.0.0 (full ChangeLog):

  • Features
    • Better time picker.
    • GUI server manager / server selection at runtime.
    • De-linebreak tool.
  • Bugfixes
    • Save entry date when saving entries locally.
    • Don't immediately relogin when you log out.
    • Segfault in poll creator.

As always, watch logjam_cvs to follow development and visit the LogJam page for checkout instructions.

Go for it. When making the NMU for Debian, I used 4.0 CVS anyway, since there were a bunch of annoying bugs in 4.0.0 that were fixed in CVS.

I'd still really like to see a past entries calendar view ;)

Time picker bug

When the time is less than 10 minutes the leading zero is missing. Thought I'd pass that along.

Also, I like the version, the date picker and such, everything but moving the now button to inside the datepicker. I know, I can nit-pick sometimes, so feel free to ignore.

Looks good.

For those of us using deadjournal, comment out line 64 of protocol.c and recompile. it will then log in and work.

As per the FAQ, (http://www.deadjournal.com/support/faqbrowse.bml?faqid=137) I get a cookie.
