logjam for windows [Aug. 20th, 2002|06:47 pm]
LogJam for Windows binaries are now available.

Why? Because I'm a fool, mostly. I installed Windows on my primary desktop to do development for fotobilder, and I figured... hey, why not. GTK2 is supposed to support it, and it, uh, sorta does, though it took a bit of hacking.

Hm... there are some features that Semagic doesn't have, and Semagic has some features LogJam doesn't have...

If you're using Windows you may as well use Semagic, but if you like LogJam already then the Windows one is pretty similar (though with some really annoying window sizing bugs, now that I've been using it) to the Unix one.

Wished the default GTK theme on Windows picked up the system colors. I see no reason why it couldn't... not like it's all pixmaps... they just need to write a windows theme engine.

Yeah, but there's only one guy doing Windows stuff because anyone who could do that hates Windows... :\

I could probably write an rc-based theme that just uses the normal win2k colors, but I think the widgets would still look weird.
