Too many communities.. [Aug. 13th, 2002|03:30 pm]

[Current Mood |tiredtired]
[Current Music |Manic Street Preachers - Repeat (UK)]

I noticed today, when I wanted to use LogJam to post to a community: I'm in so many communities they scroll off the bottom of my screen when I try to select one.. (I'm having to use the web client to post here)

Any idea how hard it would be to fix? (Other than leaving a load of communities thankyouverymuch)

Selecting a user picture has the same problem.

Both of those problems are fixed in LogJam CVS, since it uses GTK2 and the new version of GTK fixes that problem.

Now I just need to get GTK2 to work...

That was always a problem with gtk menus and combo boxes and such, but I believe it's all working quite nicely in gtk2.

I've been thinking about also automatically folding lj_* into one submenu:

But I think it'd only be useful for about three people. :)

(FWIW, this has been fixed in CVS with my suggestion above.)
