I finally cleaned up the CVS for LogJam 3.1, the GTK2-based, unstable version, enough so that I think you can download it if you're into that sort of thing.
cvs -d:pserver:email@example.com:/home/cvslj login
at the password prompt, hit enter
cvs -d:pserver:firstname.lastname@example.org:/home/cvslj checkout -r logjam_3_1 logjam
This depends on a lot of fairly recent stuff; off the top of my head, you need GTK2 and its dependencies (which include: autoconf 2.53 (not backwards-compatible with autoconf 2.13), automake 1.5 (not backward-compat with 1.4))
gtkspell and its dependencies, etc.
make install most likely doesn't work yet but that isn't really critical yet; this is hardly to the point of replacing the GTK 1.2-based LogJam.
Recent new features:
- refined command-line options means you can do stuff like logjam --user="evan" --subject="hello world" "here is the beginning of my post" from a console and have it pop up as you'd expect
- save current entry to XML
- etc, etc.
