CVS Commit:
Friend group editor, and corresponding post security options.

The screenshot was using the Sawfish default theme (called "Crux") and Adept-Premier (available at gtk.themes.org) with a few modifications to suit my preferences.

This should be the conclusion, of a sort, of LoserJabber-related features. Everything else requires a bit more effort, and isn't as interesting. I'd like to work on some other projects for a bit, I think... something that would benefit humanity more.

Or maybe I'm just lying to myself because I'm disappointed in the number of LoserJabber users, and I'll realize this and add some whiz-bang GNOME/Advogato support in the next release. :P

Either way, I'd like to do something more impressive with my spare time.

quality not quanity, I guess.
Honestly, loserjabber is quite a nice app, I enjoy using it more than the windows client, it seems quite stable and functional to me, not at all bloated.

I would like to remind you that there are some of us who really like loserjabber

Re: not many loserjabber users?

Most people use the web client, I think.
And there are a variety of command-line-based apps.

Re: not many loserjabber users?

it's still 3rd to win32 and web... i wonder how many of the web users are off of *nix boxen...

i'd rather trust loserjabber not to crash and lose my gigantic post than most of my mozilla attempts. ;)

Gyeh. Like having the third most used LJ client on LJ (up against the doze client and an idiot-proof submission client...)

I've been pretty impressed by your abilities... Sad to hear about the linked discussion, though :(

I just wanted to chime in and say that loserjabber rocks. It is the second app that I bring up after I boot my laptop(behind everybuddy), and it is the perfered way that I like to interact with livejournal. I think that you have done a kick ass job on it.
