New to LogJam [Aug. 7th, 2007|10:36 am]

Right, so I've just installed it and set the preferences...

Two immediate problems that I can't see the answer to anywhere.

1) I turned on the spell checker and now it's complaining about:

GtkSpell error: aspell: No word lists can be found for the language "en". I suspect I need to put something in "Entry Language", but what?

Also, I found this community and added it.

How do I make LogJam see it? It doesn't appear in the Journal > Use Journal dropdown list.

So I'm having to post this via the web interface.

1. Do you have Gnu Aspell and language files installed?

2. I haven't used logjam for a while but you have to go back to the user credentials screen and click the refresh information button. I can't remember the exact labels but that's how you do it.

1) I had Ispell installed but not Aspell - now fixed.

2) Found that and discovered that not only do you have to do an "Update Information" but you then have to do a "Select" again, even if you only have one user available!
