tray icon [Jul. 25th, 2006|10:03 pm]
mirrorbox contributed a patch for adding a menu to the tray icon (read more), but I sorta feel silly sticking an "About LogJam..." entry on it. So my question to you: what belongs on the context menu?

(I don't use it, so I wouldn't really know. From the code, it looks like it used to have friends list update notifications management but that feature got pulled the last time I broke it.)

Bikeshed painting in 5... 4... 3... ;)

I would say:

1. Update Journal
2. Check Friends List (opens /friends in browser - well, duh)
3. ???
4. Profit!

Well, I'm not addicted to context menus as well, it's just nice when you press the right button and something pops up. :) Probably the best way is just to copy the content of the 'LogJam' item of the main menu, without 'About' if you want. 'About' may be replaced with 'Friends' + ---, but if you say it's broken... I personally don't use friends indicator.

lol, I thought that “read more” link was an LJ Cut, and I got terribly confused when I followed it. :os
