I'm just curious. How many of you here ever wanted a friends tracking feature like one in Semagic? It looks like writing it is a worth try.

gaal wrote it halfway a while back.
you can sorta hack it with "logjam console friend list > foo" and diffing that file across multiple dates.
It's one of my desired features as well. I lack the experience to add it to Logjam, but I have considered writing a perl script to parse the friend lists that Logjam can dump out and compare them, producing output like Semagic. IE - "people that added you", etc.

Aren't there still official packages for Sid and Etch? I'd imagine that Sarge's packages aren't going to change much now that Sarge is Stable.
