Hey, you know that the Insert Image command is the same as the HTML Italic image? Or am I just on crack?
I meant the keyboard command.
It seems I have the same here with logjam 4.4.1. However, it seems to be faster for me to type <img ...> or <i> than using shortcuts, so I didn't notice it.
I think you're on crack. Insert image is img, usually followed by an src modifier, and in HTML doesn't require a closing slash. Italics are denoted by a simple i, and a close tag is required.
No, he's right. There is a problem with a lot of the keyboard shortcuts (for example Ctrl-Alt-I) having multiple associations. If, like me, you press Ctrl-Alt-I expecting Italic (as clearly marked on the menu) you will be somewhat surprised to actually get Insert Image.
This problem has existed on all the verions of Logjam that I've used, and I suspect it's not yet been fixed because there is a very simple workaround, which is to reassign the keyboard shortcuts, as outlined in this discussion:http://www.livejournal.com/community/logjam/104206.html?nc=8
Never had that problem in LogJam. Probably because I use Control-I for italics, when I use a keyboard shortcut.

It's mostly because I've been too lazy to fix it, and I can't decide whether italic or insert image should get that shortcut.
What if I say, "italic should get the shortcut"?
not on crack.. ctrl+alt+i = insert image... but its also meant to be italic.
its easier to type <i> than push three keys down anyway.
