is there a way that i can post entries through the logjam command line interface? that would be awsome cause i could post through ssh. thanks alot

Sure, use logjam post. See logjam post --help.

but how does that work? logjam -e opens my vim and when i write something and save and quit.....what i need to do then? is there a trick?

It was supposed to be that you'd do logjam -f file-with-your-entry post (or echo "your entry" | logjam -f - post. I'll see about fixing that.

here it works with logjam -f foo post foo
or do you mean it different? maybe i will write myself a bash script which makes it a bit easier :)

You may want to try charm. It's a menu-driven, console client. The project name on sourceforge is ljcharm.
