logjam

[frew]
I just wanted to say that i think logjam should save a tmp of posts before it posts them, or even interacts with the server, cuz just now i was iun the middle of a fairly large post and went to edit my friends list and it sat there in the Network request processing.. thing for a while and i pressed cancel and the whole window closed...this has happened before when i do other things involving the server too. Hope this could be added.

I don't know which version you're using, but there should be a "Save As..." option in one of the menus. If there's not, you could always use a text editor to create the entry, then use the command-line client to submit it. If your editor is smart enough, you could create a macro that'd automate it for you.

emacs already has an lj client. I want to use logjam though. I found the save as... thing tho and that is very convenient. I just think that there should be a thing in the preferences that will automatically save it before trying to post and deleting it after and if it is there when it loads it will load it up so you can repost. but thanks. I never noticed the "Save As.." button.

The CVS version of LogJam has an option to automatically save drafts every so often.

If you use debian, I make CVS snapshot packages regularly available at http://people.debian.org/~ari/unstable

nay. I can't build it anyway. If you know what I need to do this is the error I am getting:
well I can't copy paste into mozilla and there is no way i am typing it. But all errors come from an undefined reference to 'gtk_tree_model_get_iter_first'

Re:

make sure you read the README, and make sure you have the latest version of GTK2.
