Not in CVS, because my local copy is superbroken.

loserjabber 2.1.5 core dump?

when I go to web links -> change settings -> anything. You probably already know about this, but as I haven't gone through the old posts here to see what has been reported yet, so I figured I'd just risk redundancy.

Maybe it's the way I've got gnome configured to deal with hyperlinks though... If you need info about my system, just ask.

Re: loserjabber 2.1.5 core dump?

Can you give me a backtrace?
Did you compile it with GNOME support (is there a "spawn" tab in the settings dialog)?

No, this hasn't been reported.
I should also point you at LoserJabber's LiveJournal. :)

Oh, and welcome to the addiction. :)

Re: loserjabber 2.1.5 core dump?

I'll send you a trace (do you just want a "strace loserjabber", or do you want me to run it through gdb?).

Under help->about it says I've got gnome support, as did the output of configure, but there is nothing under Web Links->Settings called "spawn" - just "personal info" and "journal settings"...

Re: loserjabber 2.1.5 core dump?

Good, that all indicates GNOME was compiled in.

A GDB backtrace is what I really need, I think.

Couldy you also tell me the output of 'gnome-config --version'?

Re: loserjabber 2.1.5 core dump?

gnome-libs 1.0.40 is my gnome version.

I emailed you my raw strace, but the process hangs in gdb when it tries to login - as soon as I hit the login button, it just hangs. :( Maybe I'm doing it wrong though...

Re: loserjabber 2.1.5 core dump?

Ah, right.
Log in without gdb, go to Settings, Debug, and turn off the forking on network requests.
It seems to break gdb...

Once you've done that, exit LoserJabber (so it saves settings) and it should run happily.
