I have Syncronized the offline copy of my journal. Where is this copy hidden? I've looked under /home//.logjam/ and find nothing.

Look under ~/.logjam/servers/LiveJournal.com/users/iamrobertsworry/journal/ .

You can access this from LogJam from the GUI with "load offline entry" (where you can browse / grep), or from the command line with commands like:
logjam offline cat 1            # shows your first LJ entry
logjam offline grep -i moose    # shows all entries with moose
