It's probably obivous that I'm no Linux genius. At one point, I jsut started trying anything that looked like it might do something (thus ./mkinstalldirs and sh ltmain.sh, I had no idea what ltmain.sh was doing. Though that mkinstalldirs would make the target that was missing, or something...)
I can find no read-me with install directions indicating that I need to do anything "special" or anything.

You're assistance would be deeply appreciated.
I was running an earlier logjam on FC1, and I am so lost and forlorn, now, without it.
I need my logjam.
Because logjam rocks.

I suggest you install g++.

Isn't that part of gcc already?

Yeah, it looks like you probably don't have the corect development tools installed. g++ or gcc would be your best bets to start. If you still have issues, post back and I'll send you the RPM i just built yesterday. ;O)

I swear I told it to install a full gcc on install, but it didn't and I had to apt-get it.
Apparently it must not have installed everything with apt-get, like support for C++?
Is that?
It didn't install mplayer, either, which I know I told it to. I don't know why it didn't install everything I asked for here.
I'm in the process of getting mplayer up, than I'll get back to this little issue.
Thanks for your assistance.

My LogJam RPM package has been built on FC3, so it may work for you out-of-the-box, just run rpm -i on it. In case it fails, it will print out the missing deps, so you'll have to install them as well.

i ran into the same problem recently and i think installing g++ fixed it. but i don't fully understand that (and i'm the primary logjam developer!) because logjam doesn't use any c++. it needs more investigation.
